The Avita’s Chromalight® Plus technology allows you to choose the colours of the ember bed up-lighting, log lighting, and downlighting, to match or contrast with the five flame effect choices. Each setting has five adjustable brightness levels, for a multi-dimensional visual that’s as mesmerising as it is customisable. Adjust each setting individually using the remote handset or innovative app, or take advantage of one of eight presets for instant ambience.

Crackling fireside sound-effects

The Avita’s optional crackling fireside sound-effect setting brings the ambience to life, with seamless control via remote or app. Three volume settings allow you to adjust the sensory experience to your preference.

Optional mood lighting

To take the ambience up a notch, the Avita can be paired with an optional Mood Lighting System featuring up to six metres of flexible LED strips for discreet installation. Fully controllable via remote and app, they can be placed around a TV or along shelves for a seamless enhancement to any media wall.

TV size guide

Choosing the size of your Avita electric fire and your TV will come down to both the space you have available and your personal preference. Actual TV sizes vary across manufacturers, and the way your TV is fitted (for example into a cavity recess) will also impact the way it looks in relation to your Avita fire. Your retailer will often be able to help you size up your Avita and TV to achieve the perfect look.

Easy Slot-in Installation

Typically, when installing an electric fire in a conventional installation like a media wall, the fire would be installed within the recess first and then the exposed parts of the housing boarded over. Neatly concealing any minor plastering imperfections around the opening, Avita fires all come with an Edge+ finishing frame included for single-sided installations, providing a clean, modern border.

Better still, when using the Edge XL frame, simply slot the fire into a pre-prepared and finished chamber opening, and the frame’s wider profile will completely cover the fire’s exterior. More than just a bold design statement, the Edge XL offers the ultimate ease and time saving for single-sided installations.

Turin suite for a flat-wall installation

The Turin Suite has been created as the perfect premium partner for the Avita 120RW and 160RW electric fires, delivering a stylish, high-end focal point with straightforward wall-mounted installation.

Designed to fit easily to included wall-mounting brackets, it offers a quick and easy way to transform your living space and is available in either a classic all White finish or White with Anthracite Candela Marble-Effect lower shelf.

When using the included plinth for a floor-mounted aesthetic, its innovative design allows fitting of the main suite above most skirting boards without the need for cutting or removal*. Alternatively, leave it out entirely for a contemporary floating appearance. For added ambience, pair your suite with the optional Avita moodlighting kit to create elegant floor-level illumination.

Controlling the Avita is effortless. Whether you use the fire’s touch panel, remote control, or our intuitive app – compatible with both iOS and Android devices, adjusting the atmosphere is simple. A discreet display on the fire itself keeps all your settings in-sight, and eight ambient presets offer instant ambience at the touch of a button. Take full control over heat output or simply set your desired temperature and let the Avita do the rest.

Thermostatic heating control

Set your ideal room temperature – up to 28C – and the Avita’s 2kW heater automatically adjusts to maintain it efficiently. During the warmer months, turn off the heat entirely to enjoy the Avita purely for it’s stunning visuals.

Daily and weekly scheduling

Easily create up to four daily heating schedules, and three weekly programs to suit your lifestyle. Adaptive Start Control means the Avita can automatically turn on ahead of a pre-set time to reach your desired room temperature, ready for you to sit and relax.

Year-round enjoyment

Enabling enjoyment throughout the year, the Avita’s alluring visuals can be enjoyed with or without heat. There’s also a fan-only mode – a first for Onyx – delivering gentle air circulation that’s ideal for the warmer seasons.
